Initial psychiatric evaluations are typically available within 10 days. Follow-up appointments are scheduled regularly, based on your needs and medication plan.
New Insights Behavioral Health is a private-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly, but we can provide a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
We accept all major credit cards as well as HSA and FSA cards. Payment is processed securely before the time of service.
All appointments are conducted through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth. This allows you to meet with your provider conveniently from home, work, or school — anywhere in Connecticut.
We see patients ages 10 and up, including children, teens, and adults. Each age group receives care tailored to their developmental and emotional needs.

Yes. With your consent, we coordinate care with your therapist, primary care provider, or other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.
If you don’t already work with a therapist, we can connect you with trusted local clinicians who align with your needs and preferences. Many patients benefit from a combination of therapy and medication management.
Yes, when clinically appropriate. Controlled medications are prescribed carefully and monitored closely. Your provider will discuss treatment options and ensure safety and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
